These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on this site. 
Placing an order will confirm you accept these Terms and Conditions.
Please read them carefully

Upon placing an order, we will confirm all customers details VIA e-mail within 24 hours..!
Please do NOT be alarmed if you do not recieve an email confirmation immediately..!

IMPORTANT - Some items put on our website do NOT have an Energy Rating in their specification. If this isthe case, than the default rating is always A+++

ALL ITEMS ARE BRAND NEW AND COME COMPLETE WITH FULL MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY..!!


ITEMS LOCATED IN CLEARANCE SECTION ON THE WEBSITE, ARE ALL BRAND NEW ITEMS, WITH FULL MANUFACTURER WARRANTY.

ITEMS LOCATED IN EX-DISPLAY SECTION ON THE WEBSITE, WILL BE BRAND NEW, COMPLETE WITH MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY HOWEVER MAY HAVE SLIGHT COSMETIC BLEMISHES OR MARKS, OR MAY NOT BE IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING..

ALL ITEMS SENT BY COURIERS MUST BE CHECKED FOR ANY DAMAGES BEFORE BEING SIGNED FOR. FAILIURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN ITEM BEING ACCEPTED IN GOOD CONDITION.

- ALL REFRIGERATION PRODUCTS MUST BE LEFT TO STAND FOR A MINIMUM OF SIX HOURS  BEFORE PLUGGING IN OR SWITCHING ON.

- ALL TRANSIT BOLTS OR FIXING BRACKETS MUST BE REMOVED FROM WASHING MACHINES BEFORE USE.

- ITEMS SHOULD NOT BE ADAPTED, AUGMENTED , MODIFIED OR ALTERED IN ANY WAY.

- ALL GAS AND ELECTRIC PRODUCTS MUST BE INSTALLED BY QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS

Faliure to comply with these instructions, or misuse of products may void manufacturer warranty, and is classed as damage by misuse.

Deliveries to Commercial properties can void your warranty.

Deliveries outside of our local area, will be confirmed and rough delivery slot given. Transport will then call 1 day before delivery to confirm date and time slot, and they will also call 1 hour prior to delivery.


Our Nationwide deliverys are sent through a 3rd party courier.
Deliveries are to GROUND FLOOR ONLY. However drivers may take up items depending on  amount of stairs, however this is upon their own discretion, if it is easy & safe enough to do so.

Smaller goods (less than 50kg) will normally be sent out through a courier, therefore a smaller charge can be provided, pending on location, please phone 0121 505 6108 if it is a smaller product you are interested in and price for delivery can be discussed.

Please ensure to check for any damages before signing for goods.
If you are unsure and cannot physically unpack to inspect, please just sign for as damaged just as a precaution if a claim needs to be made at a later stage.

If a delivery is made to a customer and it is not accepted, charges will apply for return of goods to our storage facilities and for another delivery.
Storage charges for up to £20 a day may also apply if the goods are not rescheduled for delivery or collected from us.

DELIVERIES ARE SPECIFIED FOR MAINLAND UK ONLY.. SCOTLAND, WALES AND OTHER ISLANDS, EXTRA CHARGES WILL APPLY!

Every item sold by West Midlands Electrical carries a full Manufacturers Guarantee, starting from the day of purchase. West Midlands Electrical recommend that customers register for this guarantee by either sending off the guarantee card supplied with the product, or by telephoning the manufacturer and registering over the phone, alternatively by e-mail if specified.

All of our products sold are Brand New and fully boxed (unless otherwise stated).
An item is not reserved or allocated to a customer until the item is paid for in full and the order has been confirmed by a member of the sales team (either by phone or email).

It is important to note that the product dimensions do NOT include any protruding features such as, controls and handles etc. Product dimensions represent the casing of the appliance only.
Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all sizes, weights and measurements quoted on this website are approximate.


Images & Specifications of the products shown on this website are for illustrative purposes only. We have made every effort to display all product colours accurately. Please be aware that colours and specifications may differ between manufacturers and may not be exact.
Please ensure to check before placing an order if you are unsure.

If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will notify you as soon as possible. Payment will not be taken and no charge will be placed on your behalf, until agreed upon between us and yourself.

As we pride ourselves on Customer satisfaction we will aim to get that appliance as soon as possible and if an agreed date can be set, we will aim to deliver you the item as soon as possible.

There will be no contract of any kind between you and us until payment for your goods is authorised by your bank or credit card issuer.

Delivery will be made to the address specified by you. Please note that our standard delivery of products is within mainland UK, as we are based in the heart of the west midlands, we aim to offer a free local same day delivery service on any items in stock.

We will do our best to secure delivery within 3-7 working days, the cost for standard delivery is £29.99 reflected in the Shopping Cart regardless of the number of items delivered on a particular date. Surcharges may apply to places with access restriction. If you are not at home for a pre-arranged delivery then we reserve the right to charge you the cost of that delivery again to re-deliver your order. If you wish to change the delivery date once it is agreed then please give us no less than 3 working days notice prior to delivery.

On delivery you will be required to sign a Proof of Delivery which shall be conclusive evidence that you have received your order.

Damage/Returns

ALL REFUNDS WILL NOT INCLUDE THE COST OF DELIVERY, MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED FOR THE ITEM ONLY.

If unfortunately any obvious external cosmetic damage has occurred, we do apologise. In many cases we cannot identify as items are delivered brand new to our customers. If there is any obvious cosmetic external damage to the goods at the time of delivery then you can agree to note these on the delivery paperwork or fairly can refuse the delivery. If you agree to keep the item a damage allowance may be put forward or we can just swap it for you as soon as possible.

Items are given a 48 hour period in which to check for damage.
After 7 days, if the item is not reported damaged, we will not be liable to collect, replace or refund.
7 Days is a reasonable time to check for an item being damaged.

If a refridgeration item is damaged, and consumables are lost, we are unable to provide replacement food or compensation.

If an item has been purchased and delivered and there are no damages or defects with the product then all returns will be subject to a 30% charge to cover the costs incurred from retrieving the item and the loss of value to the goods.

If for any reason an item is deemed faulty and has been agreed for an uplift/return from the manufacturers, we can arrange to exchange or refund, however the cost of
re-delivering a new item will be charged at the standard rate £29.99.

WE DO NOT INSTALL INTEGRATED ITEMS!

Installations are only available for the LOCAL AREA (West Midlands).. The charges for connections will be agreed upon on contact following the order, we aim to provide a service to connect many appliances, however for washing machines we employ a group of drivers not plumbers, the drivers are qualified to connect your new appliance to existing pipework however you must ensure your old appliance is disconnected and ready to take away.

Disposal of old appliance under WEEE regulations - £10

WE DO NOT REMOVE REFRIGERATION ITEMS..!

However we will aim to take your old appliance away free of charge, but this service is generally only available to the local area.

We can discuss an arrangement when confirming an order, and in most cases it should not be a problem. However note in some cases connections can be paid for on delivery, again something we will confirm on confirmation of order.

DEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNABLE..!!

All cancellations of special orders WILL be subject to a 25% handling surcharge.

We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on to the site (see date above). You will be asked to read and accept the Terms and Conditions each time you place an order to ensure that you are familiar with the most current ones.

The prices payable for the items that you order are clearly set out on the web site. All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable. The price of the items does not include the delivery charge. The charges will be reflected in your Shopping Cart when you choose to purchase an item.  Prices can change and we will always bring you the latest prices as quickly as possible
