Terms and Conditions (07/07/2021)

These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on this site. 
Placing an order will confirm you accept these Terms and Conditions.
Please read them carefully -

WE ARE NOW OFFERING FREE NATIONWIDE DELIVERY..!
We only deliver goods to destinations within the UK Mainland Only.
We DO NOT deliver to KW, BT, IV, AB, PH postcodes and certain areas in Scotland like Highlands, Isles, Outlying areas & Central Scotland may not be covered.
Arrangements could be made, however please message or call beforehand to confirm.

Upon placing an order, we will confirm all customers details VIA e-mail/telephone within 24 hours, unless booked over the weekend.
Please do NOT be alarmed if you do not receive an email confirmation immediately.

PLEASE LEAVE A CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER WHEREVER POSSIBLE IN NOTES.

Standard Deliveries are usually 2-7 working days.
Depending on your location, items will be delivered VIA our 3rd party chosen couriers which may extend the delivery date.

ALL ITEMS SENT BY COURIERS MUST BE CHECKED FOR ANY DAMAGES BEFORE BEING SIGNED FOR. FAILIURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN ITEM(S) BEING ACCEPTED IN GOOD CONDITION - YOU HAVE 48 HOURS TO REPORT ANY DAMAGES, AFTER THIS TIMEFRAME WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY LIABILITY.

Deliveries outside of our local area, will be confirmed and a rough delivery slot will be given. Transport will then call 1 day before delivery to confirm date and time slot, and they will also call 1 hour prior to delivery. On delivery you will be required to sign a Proof of Delivery which shall be conclusive evidence that you have received your order.

Surcharges may apply to places with access restriction, (congestion zones, etc) If you are not at home for a pre-arranged delivery then we reserve the right to charge you the cost of that delivery again to re-deliver your order. If you wish to change the delivery date once it is agreed then please give us no less than 2 working days’ notice prior to delivery.

Collection Charges are priced at £29.99, regardless of items. If an item is delivered, and it needs re-collecting regardless of the situation, charges will apply. The same applies to refused deliveries.

Delivery will be made to the address specified by you. Please note that our standard delivery of products is within mainland UK, as we are based in the heart of the west midlands, we aim to offer a FREE LOCAL SAME DAY DELIVERY on any items in stock.

As we pride ourselves on Customer Satisfaction, we will aim to get your appliance to you, as soon as possible. Arrangements can be made if you require us to hold onto the item for an extended period of time, until you are ready to receive them.

DEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE...!!

All cancellations of orders WILL be subject to a 30% handling surcharge.

IMPORTANT - Some items put on our website do NOT have an Energy Rating in their specification. If this is the case, then the default rating is always A-A+++

ALL ITEMS ARE BRAND NEW AND COME WITH A MINIMUM 12 MONTHS MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY...!!

R Grade

This is the highest standard of refurbished products which have been reworked in Whirlpools on site facility and come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty as standard.

Most of these appliances received minor damage during the original manufacturing or logistics process and although minor blemishes may still exist, these are generally limited to the sides and rear of the appliances.

A Grade

Items marked as Grade A - may be missing its original packaging, or the original packaging has been opened or is no longer sealed. The item is a new and unused item possibly with minor cosmetic blemishes.
Graded appliances are brand new covered with 12 months manufacturer’s warranty.

ITEMS LOCATED IN CLEARANCE SECTION ON THE WEBSITE, ARE ALL BRAND NEW ITEMS, WITH FULL MANUFACTURER WARRANTY.

ITEMS LOCATED IN EX-DISPLAY SECTION ON THE WEBSITE, WILL BE BRAND NEW, COMPLETE WITH MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY HOWEVER MAY HAVE SLIGHT COSMETIC BLEMISHES OR MARKS, OR MAY NOT BE IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING..


- ALL REFRIGERATION PRODUCTS MUST BE LEFT TO STAND FOR A MINIMUM OF 12 HOURS  BEFORE PLUGGING IN OR SWITCHING ON.

- ALL TRANSIT BOLTS OR FIXING BRACKETS MUST BE REMOVED FROM WASHING MACHINES BEFORE USE.

- ITEMS SHOULD NOT BE ADAPTED, AUGMENTED , MODIFIED OR ALTERED IN ANY WAY.

- ALL GAS AND ELECTRIC PRODUCTS MUST BE INSTALLED BY QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS

Failure to comply with these instructions, or misuse of products may void manufacturer warranty, and is classed as damage by misuse.

Due to washing machines and dishwashers being products that use water, sometimes water and moisture will be apparent inside the machines or on the packaging as these products are tested by the manufacturers

Domestic appliances being used in Commercial properties can VOID your warranty.

Our Nationwide deliveries are sent through a 3rd party courier.
All side by side & large fridge freezers, washing machines, cookers, dishwashers & brown goods will be delivered to the ground floor level only and cannot be carried up or down any staircases. Goods may be delivered inside your property/premises provided that the goods go through with the packaging and there are no staircases or any obstructions in the way. This will however be at the customer's own risk and we shall not be liable for any damages that may occur to goods or your property. This policy also applies to collections.

Smaller goods (less than 30kg) will normally be sent out through a courier, therefore a smaller charge can be provided, pending on location, please phone 0121 505 6108 if it is a smaller product you are interested in and price for delivery can be discussed.

Please ensure to check for any damages before signing for goods.
If you are unsure and cannot physically unpack to inspect, please just sign for as damaged just as a precaution if a claim needs to be made at a later stage.

If a delivery is made to a customer and it is not accepted, charges will apply for return of goods to our storage facilities and for another delivery.
Storage charges for up to £10 a day may also apply if the goods are not rescheduled for delivery or collected from us.

Every item sold by West Midlands Electrical carries a full Manufacturers Guarantee, starting from the day of purchase. West Midlands Electrical recommend that customers register for this guarantee by either sending off the guarantee card supplied with the product, registering over the phone, or alternatively on their website if specified.

All of our products sold are Brand New and fully boxed (unless otherwise stated).

An item is not reserved or allocated to a customer until the item is paid for in full and the order has been confirmed by a member of the sales team (either by phone or email).

It is important to note that the product dimensions do NOT include any protruding features such as, knob controls and handles etc. Product dimensions represent the casing of the appliance only. Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all sizes, weights and measurements quoted on this website are approximate.

Images & Specifications of the products shown on this website are for illustrative purposes only. We have made every effort to display all product colours accurately. Please be aware that colours and specifications may differ between manufacturers and may not be exact.
Please ensure to check before placing an order if you are unsure.

If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will notify you as soon as possible. Payments will be immediately Refunded.
N.B – This could take between 2-3 working days to re-appear in your account.

There will be no contract of any kind between you and us until payment for your goods is authorised by your bank or credit card issuer.

Damage/Returns

We can arrange to collect, exchange or credit, however the cost of collecting and re-delivering a new item will be charged at the standard rate £29.99. Larger Items such as American Fridge Freezers, Range Cookers, etc, will be charged at standard rate of £49.99

If unfortunately, any obvious external cosmetic damage has occurred, we do apologise. In many cases we cannot identify as items are delivered brand new to our customers. If there is any obvious cosmetic external damage to the goods at the time of delivery then you can agree to note these on the delivery paperwork or fairly can refuse the delivery. If you agree to keep the item a damage allowance may be put forward or we can just swap it for you.

Items are given a 48-hour period in which to check for damage.
If the item is not reported damaged, we will not be liable to collect, replace or refund.
2 Days is a reasonable time to check for an item being damaged.

If an item is damaged on unpacking and reported to us and a replacement is not required we will refund only once the item has been collected by our courier.

If a refrigeration item is damaged, and consumables are lost, we are unable to provide replacement food or compensation.

If an item has been purchased and delivered and there are no damages or defects with the product then all returns will be subject to a 30% charge to cover the costs incurred from retrieving the item and the loss of value to the goods.

If an Item is deemed faulty then it is up to the customer to arrange with the manufacturer for a repair. If an item is deemed unrepairable by the manufacturer, and they supply an uplift/authorisation code, this entitles you to an exchange or credit for that product.


Please Note - Faulty items cannot be exchanged or credited unless authorisation has been permitted from the manufacturer.

Installations are only available for the LOCAL AREA (West Midlands) and in certain cases nationwide pending on item and location. The charges for connections will be agreed upon on contact following the order. We aim to provide a service to connect many appliances, however for washing machines we employ a group of drivers not plumbers, the drivers are qualified to connect your new appliance to existing pipework however you must ensure your old appliance is disconnected and ready to take away.

N.B - ANY ADJUSTMENTS OR MODIFICATIONS WILL INCUR EXTRA CHARGES..!


Disposal of old appliance under WEEE regulations - £10
REFRIGERATION ITEMS ARE CHARGED AT - £30

We can discuss install and removal arrangements when confirming an order, and in most cases it should not be a problem. However please note in some cases connections can be paid for on delivery, again something we will confirm on confirmation of order.

We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on to the site (see date above). When you place an order, you are accepting the Terms and Conditions which have been stated here, so please ensure to read thoroughly before you place an order.

The prices payable for the items that you order are clearly set out on the web site. All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable. Prices can change and we will always bring you the latest prices as quickly as possible.
